Dried Chile Anaheim Pepper

This is an heirloom Chile that was developed in New Mexico more than 100 years ago.This Chile would become the granddaddy of all future New Mexico pod types. They are big, fleshy and have mild heat ranging from 500 – 1,000 Scovilles. We dehydrate them whole, with the caps on to retain the most flavor.



We dehydrate these Peppers so they are always available for out of season needs. Or, during the growing season you may come to the farm for a fresh harvest, limited quantities. Advance notice is best for reserved availability of this Pepper.

We start our own plants from GMO-free seeds, in locally produced mushroom compost. No pesticides, no herbicides, no preservatives, ever.
