Guajillo Chile Pepper – Dehydrated Whole or Flake

The heirloom Guajillo Chile peppers are very common to Mexican cooking and are the workhorse of chiles with a lot of dazzle. The Guajillo, Ancho and Pasilla peppers are referred to as the “Holy Trinity of Chiles”. They are all used together to make authentic Mexican mole sauces.

Gound into flakes use to add heat to pizza or salsas, or steep them into hot chocolate for a delicious spicy treat to warm you straight through. Medium level heat at about 2,500 to 5,000 Scoville heat units (SHU)

FLAKED peppers can be blossomed in oil for the rue base of dips, stews and sauces, releasing the full flavor. WHOLE peppers can be revitalized by a 15-minute soak in water, vinegar or a combination of both. Save the liquid for the sauce.

4- THE ONLY ANTEDOTE FOR CAPSAICIN IS WHEY PROTEIN FOUND IN ANY
MILK PRODUCT. DO NOT USE WATER OR CARBONATED BEVERAGE.
5- PEPPERS IN THE HOT CATAGORIES CAN HURT YOU, USE THEM
